More and more people are longing for travel experiences that are beyond the scope of the regular charters. One of the most exciting and exotic countries one can travel to today is India.
Knut de Presno, together with his family, lived in a number of locations in India. Knut’s friend, Jim Lindquist, visited them many times during that time. Together they travelled the length and breadth of the country and enjoyed a rich wealth of experience of what this fantastic country has to offer. Following a motorcycle tour high in the Himalaya during autumn 2006 the idea was birthed to share this adventure experience with others. “Indian Adventures, Norway” began, with a vision to offer our customers some of the most exciting, richest experiences of their lives.
Tour Leaders
Knut de Presno is 43 years old and together with his family lived in India for almost eight years. He is a trained nurse and has taught in a number of institutions throughout the country.
During the Tsunami disaster and earthquake in Pakistan some months later he was the leader for two medical teams of doctors and nurses from Scandinavia who worked in the disaster hit areas.
After years in India he knows the country and its culture very well and he has taken care of many small travel groups in both the north and south of India. He has also been a travel group leader to Israel on a number of occasions.
Jim Lindquist is 43 years old and lives in Halden, Norway. He is a trained ? teacher specialising in ? and has a Masters in Organisation and Management. Today he works as a counsellor or consultant? and has previously led travel groups on trips within Europe and to India. He has visited India on many occasions and motorcycled solo across the Himalayas..
Jim is an experienced motorcyclist and mechanic, previously aktivitetsleder for Moto-cross and enduro. His interests other than MC are travel, diving and photography. He thinks that half the joy of travelling is the organisation and planning of the trip. .
